A week at our timeshare at Marriott's Desert Springs I. 

A beautiful view of the Santa Rosa, San Jacinto, and San Gorgonio mountains.

Wonderful El Paseo in Palm Desert.  This is where all the great shops and restaurants are -- so we are too.

We followed our stay at Desert Springs with six nights at Newport Coast Villas.

April 6-12, 2014

That beautiful view up the California Coast.

  Love the Mediterranean architecture.  Looks and feels a lot like the coast of Spain or Italy.

  Lots of room and a gorgeous view.  Unit 3933.

  La Vista -- the pool bar and restaurant.

  Gathering for the "free" wine tasting.  Actually it was pretty good, with an assortment of BV Coastal wines and cheese.

  Beautiful fountain at the koi pond -- great spot for an outdoor function.
