When we got to the hotel, the staff gave us two lemonades (choice of hot or cold beverage) that were delicious. That was certainly a nice and unexpected touch. Our guide Beltran was incredible and the hotel arranged everything. The rooms are small, but luxurious. I highly recommend getting a guide for your visit to MP. The lodge is a short bus ride or walk away from the actual ruins of Machu Picchu and has amazing mountain views from the rooms for when you’ve finished your adventuring for the day.
